The Davis High Varsity Baseball team lost to Jesuit 6-9 Wednesday night. Try to break their season long losing streak, the Blue Devils hosted Jesuit at Dobbins Stadium, the home of UC Davis Baseball. The Blue Devils were in prime position to get into the winners column for the first time. Leading 3-1, after putting up three runs in the bottom of the first, Davis would not trail until the seventh inning.

Starter, Freshman Jack Kenner was terrific with five solid innings. He only gave up two runs and left with the Blue Devils leading 3-2. Davis would add one more in the bottom of the sixth inning setting up the most painful of their loses. Up by two runs and only needing three outs, Davis would allow Jesuit to score seven times and would lose 9-6.

The Blue Devil bats came alive with an 9 hit performance, led by Alex Thompson with a pair.
