ELK GROVE — Davis High softball got its first victory of the season Monday, 7-5 against Franklin.
Kaytlin LeBar-Triepke started the game, pitched three strong innings, was removed, and then reappeared in the seventh inning for the save.
Davis pounded out 12 hits led by two each from a pair of sophomores, Gracie Martinez and Lilah Shapiro.
