The Davis High Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team dropped their season opener 20-16 to Bella Vista High on Wednesday night at Ron and Mary Brown Stadium. The Blue Devils fell behind 9-1 early but battled back in the second half to close the gap. The Blue Devils are without a couple of key players, including All-League standout Izzy Churchward, who are competing in the Nor Cal soccer playoffs.
