The 10th-seeded Davis High Blue Devils Girls Soccer Team faced the undefeated and 2nd-seeded Del Oro Eagles on the road Tuesday night. The Blue Devils would pull off the upset in walk-off fashion. After a scoreless game, it came down to penalty kicks. Davis led 4-3, with Del Oro having one last chance. Senior keeper Aubrey McLin would dive to her right and deflect the ball wide of the net. The Blue Devils survived and advanced to the Section Semi-Finals Thursday night.

Facing another undefeated, higher-ranked team, the Blue Devils would once again pull off the upset, 1-0, over Inderkum High on Thursday Night. Izzy Churchward would score on a first-half penalty kick. The tough Devil defense would take over from there, not allowing a goal in regulation for the second straight game. Davis moves on to the Section Finals against top-ranked and undefeated Gregori High on Saturday Night at 5 pm at Cosumnes River College.
