In a long-awaited rivalry matchup, the Davis Blue Devils dominated the Woodland Wolves 86–37 Monday night in their first home game.

Davis opened strong with early baskets from sophomore Rhys Crawford, senior Elijah Shweky and freshman Julian Zaragoza, building a 20–10 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Blue Devils kept the momentum throughout the second, with junior Gabe Olmos, senior Kalani Prahl and junior Jude Robinson adding key scores while Crawford attacked the rim repeatedly. Davis went into halftime up 48–23 after a series of high-energy dunks and fast-break shots.
The Blue Devils broke the game open in the third quarter. Shweky, senior Ahmere Bradley and Crawford piled on points, including multiple highlighted dunks from Crawford as Davis surged to a 70–34 advantage. Junior Enzo Cacciatore and Crawford showed strong on-court chemistry, and continued to connect on efficient plays.
Davis closed the night with a dominant fourth quarter to seal the 86–37 win. The Blue Devils’ depth showed as the team continued to attack in transition and share the ball, even in the final minutes.
The win extends Davis’ strong start to their season, highlighted by an explosive offensive performance and standout athleticism throughout the game.
“Our league is the best in the state so we’re going to have to tighten up and energize our defense for the rest of the season,” said Coach Steven Smith.
