The Sac-Joaquin Section Girls Golf Division 1 Tournament took place on Monday, October 27th, at Bing Maloney Golf Course. Lily Lingbloom was the only representative from the Blue Devil Squad based on her regular-season performance. Having never played this course before, Lingbloom was uncertain about how the day would go.

On a windy afternoon, the conditions were less than ideal. Breaking 80 had been Lingbloom's goal all season. She shot her best round ever, a 76, which not only exceeded that goal but also qualified her for the Section Masters Tournament.

With two birdies and only a couple of bogies, Lingbloom avoided any big numbers. She was consistent all day and sank a long birdie putt on the 18th hole to finish a great day.

The Masters Championship will be held on November 3rd at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
